Precedence rule for the Hirer in case of Road Accident

Stop the vehicle, switch on the alarm signaling, take appropriate measures to evacuate passengers from the car, put a breakdown triangle 15 meters away from the vehicle in inhabited area and 30 meters away if out of the inhabited area.
In case of any victims care for them before doctor comes, call an emergency. In extraordinary cases send victims by any means or convey by your vehicle to the nearest patient care institution; report your name, registration number of your car presenting personal documents| driver’s license and registration certificate. Go back to the site of traffic accident.
Do not touch anything concerning the subject of accident.
Note the names and contact telephone numbers of the witnesses (passer-byes, passengers, passing drivers and the registration numbers of the vehicles pointed.)
Mark the model of the other vehicle which came into collision especially of attempt of the driver to escape.
If the second participant refuses to settle the accident affair with Road police (bringing pressure or suggesting allowance for damage) you should explain that your vehicle is insured and the damage will be covered by an insurance company.
Call the Police and wait for Police representatives.
Use any mobile to reach Police station on +7 495 911 8241 or 0911.
Inform the rental station via mobile or in case or absence any use public telephone at the nearest Oil station, shop etc.

Report:

your name,
rental car registration number,
rental agreement number,
place of accident,
model and registration number of collided car,
if the Police was called or not,
if there are any victims,
if vehicle’s evacuation required.

Attention !
Show your personal documents and vehicle’s certificate Police representative only.
Before arriving of Police representative inform the second participant about your insurance company and number of your insurance policy.
Get the information about second participant’s insurance company and number of insurance policy. Fill together Accident Notification. If he|she refuses to fill it, do it by yourself, pointing model, color and registration number of the second participant’s vehicle.
Take part in producing report and sketch of the accident. Control all damages to be described in full and correctly and if you confirm everything, sign it. If not, insist on correction.
Take notes of policeman’s name and status, name and address of police station, number of policeman’s breastplate.
Get the Accident Reference and check if the damages are described and counted correctly. When the Accident Registration is over and the rental agent did not appear, call him|her again and ask about your next steps.
On arriving to the rental station pass the Accident Reference and Accident Notification to rental agent.
In case of the second participant’s threatening or claiming compensation you have to inform rental agent and policeman about it.
